Why?

Hi, I published my story and so far there have been over 300 views but, why is there not any review?
It's not like people will just review it :blob_popcorn:
I've seen some stories go for over fifty thousand views without a single review.

SH is quiet–they rarely ever comment, or even favorite the chapter. The ones that do review have something they really want to say, whether that be good or bad.

One in probably every 50k views will review. This is a statistic I made up but truth be told, you probably won't be seeing a review for a while unless someone really, really loves your story or hates it. You could always leave a reminder at the end of your chapters though.

Bruh I've seen stories with millions of views only to have less than 10 reviews.. it really depends if the reader think they like it enough to review. Or it's just luck.. it takes a lot of time

You also have to consider that people don't have to read your chapters to count as views. As long as they click on your book link, it counts so the number of people actually reading it might be in the single digits.

Or maybe they just read the first paragraph and left. I've seen so many people that put it on reading and never get past chapter 1.

I have been convinced to leave a review after the author asked for a review at the end of every chapter.
I also tend to review completed stories that I finish.
As for comments I only comment when I try to predict something, so…

If you're looking for feedback, you may ask your readers for it, but don't expect much.

Most readers are silent reader and to be honest when I read, I am too. If you really want a review try asking them at the end of the chapter with the author note.

This isn't New York Times, man. This is ScribbleHub. For better or worse, we're all, like, super-lazy. We read, we steal leave cookies and we ditch the story.
The non-lazy users are probably expending their energy writing worlds of their own instead of reviewing, so you're left with a very quiet community.
Thus, you should know that while getting a review isn't super rare, it won't happen that often unless you have some really chatty readers/have a large following/your story is so globally hated because of NTR or something that everyone wants to jump on the unga-bunga bandwagon and dump on it for kicks.

Most people here won't say anything out of shyness/disinterest. I speak from experience, especially on the shyness aspect.
This is a reading/writing community first and foremost, after all. People here won't be the most chatty. There's nothing wrong with that, of course. But you must take it into account so you won't have the wrong expectations.

I had chatty readers due to the nature of my novel, but oddly they didn't leave a review until 140k as I said. It was probably because it was my first webnovel, and in the synopsis I had a note saying to go easy on me lol.

Go by readers and not the views. That is a much better indication. You have 14 active readers, going by the stats. I have 7 reviews from an 1181 active reading user base on an ongoing story.

Draw your own conclusions from that when you can except reviews coming in.
