Why such sad threads+Prompt of Joy?

Emotionally, I have been all over the place. And I'm just curious.
What's with all of the sad threads?
The one about suicide and the appeal of watching it, the really aggressive thread by phaeous where he was really pushing some nasty hate and rhetoric, the nasty harassment stuff in many harems (the haRIZZment one), the really sad Angst prompt...
Am I just focusing on the bad (in other words, SH has always been like this and it didn't seem wrong to me?), and my depression is just coloring my view of the world right now, or is it a bad series of coincidences where they are coming at an inopportune time all at once?

To be honest, most of the times it is by imagination.

Because either what I seek does not exist, or if it does, the author/ illustrator undersells or overdoes it.

Basically I go through all kinds of media, now really digging the dregs with MTL JP literature. And I did found some good ones though, a bit spoiled by MTL but still good.

I'm happy.

I can understand what you mean. For me, I've become exhausted by the power differences, even play differences, in literally every smut scene. Feels like literally every piece of smut involves powerplay and domination of some sort to some degree. For there being so much material, there is surprisingly little variation, even if that's probably not exactly what you are talking about.
I am ~so tired~ of it... Exhausting. What's wrong with eschewing the age-old question of top and bottom for one second.
