Do what you want when you're the only one seeing it. It's starting to be not ok when you're burning the rest of us' eyes by sending a screenshot.
Hmm, that's a good point I didn't consider I guess.

I'll do it less I guess. Wasn't my intention to burn your retinas.

I use light mode sometimes in discord, although the reason behind it is rather nonstandard. (and people were calling me a monster for doing that)

I’m a light mode user, guess I’m a monster too. :blob_hmm:

You can send me screenshots without being judged :blob_uwu:

Tbh, I only changed to dark mode to see the glowing blobxmas. Beside that, dark mode is kind of hard to discern for me. #badeyes #╮ ( ̄ヮ ̄) ╭

I never used Discord's dark mode... Or pretty much the dark mode of anything that offered the chance of a Light Mode... Light Mode is just more appealing to me.

I think @Tony-chan also uses Light Mode btw~

So no, you're not a monster, you use the same mode as our goddess~

It doesn't really matter. Use what you want. The only reason why I use dark anyway is coz light mode literally gives me a migraine. Black text on white background hurts my eyes too much. I skip stories from sites without dark mode coz I can't read them due to health reasons.

SH mostly works well except for the highlighting--idk what you're talking about.

So what about SH's dark mode do you not like? You know, instead of complaining you could leave some constructive criticism. Or perhaps you're just complaining for the sake of complaining, which I believe is the case.

In dark mode all the words are of the same shade of white, and highlighting is presented by this VERY pale grey.

The usual blue and white borders of the default style is simply reduced to grey and white, which isn't a contrasting colour scheme, owing to a rather uncomfortable viewing experience.

Same goes to the usual coloured buttons. Just black boxes at this point.

Icons that have colour are simply reduced to whites.

Dark mode is supposed to give users a easier light to their eyes. They met the bare minimum criteria but the other losses just made it a deal breaker, to me at least. Default Style seems more superior than the cheaply implemented Dark Mode.

This is pale grey to you? Unless you mean when you're typing, in which case I agree.

What blue border? SHF default doesn't have blue except at the top, some text, and the accents for quotes and reactions. The grey for the dark theme replaces it fine.

What coloured buttons? It's literally just varied shades of blue that doesn't even offer clarity unless you distinguish their functions by color rather than by text. Most people don't unless they literally spend hours daily on the forums.

What icons?

Dark mode is easier and there is no loss other than the highlight.
