Why do male harems dominate the genre while yuri harems are so rare?

IME, words are more effective with women than visuals. ANYTHING can set us guys off (or shut us down, sadly...), but women need either cajoling or to read something or listen to something or hear gentle, heartfelt praise (or, for some, create "smut-talk" - or, frequently, both) to get going. At least the small number I've been with - maybe that's just the type I attract.
