Why am I trending so low?
The stat's on my page seem far better than many of the stories above me, much higher views, views per day and a higher chapter view %, also I have more chapters and more words per chapter and more chapters per week. Ranked #79 as of writing this.

Only thing I can think of is that my story is quite new at about a week and a half old. Which is obviously less than a month.

It is likely because the story is new. Chapter comments and reader interaction also plays a part from my limited knowledge. No one really knows how trending works except for Tony. If people knew they could exploit it.

I'd say you're too young of a story. Give it time. No one knows exactly how it works.

The fact that you are even in the top 100 is impressive in itself. How one gets into trending is unknown. You should aim higher but #79 is still pretty good. Don't be discouraged.

So I found I am ranking as number 1 in the weekly rising, and number 6 in reader gain, so I am doing very well on some of the lists, but that is because new story. I will gain less of those as more people have read it over time.
I am doing bad in other lists also because its a new story, I can't compete with a big story for interactions when they have like 5000 people following it and I have 200.
Its whatever though, to be expected. If I write good stuff people will read it, if I don't they won't.
