I did actually notice that a lot of new stories get a five star right away and thought someone was just being generous to new stories! Lol

Yeah I feel there very few new authors that don't five star their own work. I'm one of the few exceptions where I haven't starred any of my novels, but I will like my chapters once someone else likes them first. So I'm guilty there.

Didn't know you could change more than once - but one of the fives I gave out was a four originally, then a five after I read the second half of the story. Almost bumped it back down to four when I realized it had been abandoned but didn't think I could, and didn't want to be too petty.

Why is it possible to rate your own work? Ludicrous! If I were to rate my novel, I would need to give it 3 stars.
