Who like space opera?

I've written this-here first installment of a swashbucklin' sci-fi adventure, and I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.

It's only 1,280 words, so it shouldn't take particularly long to read.

I love SciFi, but maybe don't put massive blocks of text in your first three paragraphs.

There are many ways to shrink them without losing details. Splitting huge paragraphs into smaller chunks and removing redundant words are a few of those.

I like it, will keep following along. I'm not a huge Sci-Fi guy but I've enjoyed the stuff I've read, and I can get into this kinda formula, where the villains are sorta silly. Even if it gets more serious later on, as long as it keeps this same spirit, it'll be an enjoyable read
