Looking for the least threatening mook character as an individual amongst the list.

Firebender soldier from ALTA

Stingwinger are Power Ranger Lost Galaxy enemy foot soldier. Their last appearance is scary though as they allahu akbar everything

Chitauri are The Avengers (2012) mook soldiers.

Formless from Super Robot Monkey Team, Hyper Force Go!

If you have a more worthless mook than the above four examples other than normal humans, please leave a post.

Thank you.

If we are looking at them from an individual level the Chitauri are the worst because they cant make use of their only redeeming quality (being hiveminds).

Was thinking about that but if they can move as individuals, they have the benefit of superhuman strength (from being part alien, part machine) as well as their future guns and bombs.

I mean a generic firebender is just a normal dude he could get lost in a crowd heck the fire nation prince and greatest General infiltrated the earth kingdom with no trouble because they're just people

That could make them more dangerous but nobody would think so because they're the least threatening looking

I disagree with the guys above. I thought the Chitauri were a very intimidating enemy force in the context of their universe, same thing with the Fire Nation. Even if they were featured as individuals, they would be a threat, not a comic relief character. The other two are from franchises I know nothing about.

To answer your question, the least threatening mook soldier hands down are B1 battle droids from Star Wars. Specifically the ones shown in the animated series like Clone Wars and their one appearance in Rebels (The Last Battle is one of my favorite Rebels episodes btw). In fact, some battle droids were featured as individuals usually for comic relief.

Not really looking for infiltration etc.

But I chose Firebender because:
1. Literally just a dude who can cast firebolt by swinging limbs wildly.
2. Is affected by daylight and temperature
The Chitauri is literally a type 2 civilization but got mogged by a guy with a shield and a guy with arrows.
So that is why I called BS.

The reason I didn't put B1 into the choice is that it does not have any remarkable feat that makes it above human standards other than being expendable.

The droidaka would be a better comparison against the above four choices but then again, it would be considered an elite mook.

I have listened to enough True crime podcast to know that a normal human is fucking terrifying.
So Stingwinger, at least you know what's up.
I would chose that over firebenders.

But seeing how that they are often up against the PGs and lost because of PG BS plus they can fly and no need to breathe makes me considered otherwise.

I would had place the low level Marines from One Piece in the list but thought "nah, too normie level"

I know what a droideka is, and aside from a modified one from the comics, they don't talk, so it'd make for a pretty boring character.

However isn't this a contradiction? A threatening mook would have special qualities and a powerful mook would be threatening. Not all of us can be Captain America.

It'll help if I know what character archetype you are going for. Because a non-threatening superpowered individual henchman isn't a very common character outside of comic relief settings. That first criterion is throwing me for a loop.

On hindsight it does make sense that my criteria makes no sense.

And it is.

1. To be dangerous enough to normal people and possesses strength that is above normals.

2. Then to be shit against the protag team.

3. It is a very tiny gap innit?
