I quit after Scarlet and Violet, I'm done. That game is a complete disaster from all ends. Which is a shame, since Arceus is good. Though, what am I gonna do? Wait like ten years before getting something that might be good? I'm just gonna cut my losses and go.

Breaking my DS was a soul crushing moment for me. I never bought a nintendo device again.

But I did play a bunch of the 'newer' games on emulators so-

My last games were the fifth gen. Black and White 1 & 2. I stopped playing for various reasons:

• The new battle gimmicks felt gimmicky (Mega Evolutions, Z moves, Dynamax, Gigantamax, Terastallize, etc.).
• The maps kept getting more linear compared to the older games; this is the reason why many Pokemon rip-offs also fail like TemTem.
• I love 8-bit games; the switch to 3D visuals bummed me out.
• I became highly distrustful of Nintendo due to some things they did.

So as you can see, I became an old fart who doesn't like new things.
