I wanted to make a setting where the apocalypse happened. And all the people exposed to strong magic began to mutate and turn into incomprehensible creatures. Inspired by the absurdity of Adventure time.

What do you think about this start?

You wake up in a ritual circle. You don't feel like you belong here. And memories from another, lost paradise flash through your head. Looking around you see a frightening picture. You are surrounded by creatures that look like nobles. But none of them look normal. One looks like a golden armor, and his head hangs on a sword. Another looks like a humanoid blue candle with a flame on his forehead. The third looks like a leather ball hanging in the air as if gravity has no effect on him. But most importantly, there is a girl standing in front of you. Black, no, not just black. Darkness would describe her color well, and her hair exudes light. A light like a rainbow, but more colorful. Like a diamond exposed to light. "Now you belong to me my rose" the last thing you heard before you faint.

Roguelike feeling early since he doesn't remember seems like starting from ground up.
Element of horror and gore incoming, as the man gets to order or get protected.
Hmm someone of importance to some princess must be look, heart or something.
Human and monster romance, ah such fine taste~ a yandere that will not let you go.
The location is obviously rich, fallen or somewhere hidden.

Personally meh.
Emotionless judging it ? I would not recommend it. But it depends. Would say give it a try, but dont have high expectations.

You must have some truly strange nobles in your country. Maybe it would be better to say its their presence instead of their looks.
