I got into martial arts, parkour, weapon skills, and being stealthy due to TMNT 2003.

I got into reading because people stopped reading to me and I really wanted to know how a story ended.

I got into cooking because I couldn't stand having awful tasting food, or not having anything to eat because I can't cook. Also, an old man at church would teach me how to make bread when my mom and dad had counseling sessions with his wife and the Pastor.

I got into making substances because I have yet to receive a good answer as to why I should not make them other than it being illegal. Though that makes it more fun.

I got into smoking weed because I couldn't afford going to the doctor and decided to self medicate. I quit a year ago and will probably not pick it up again.

I like the inclusion of vampires on this list. Naturally, I became a vampire, so I became more interested in them about 2700 years ago.

As for writing, I loved reading stories. I enjoyed the stories I was reading so much that I wanted to create my own. I've become more and more obsessed with storytelling. It's funny to think about right now when I can't read as much.

The gate way into Visual Novels for me was the Steins;Gate VN. I had previously seen DokiDoki Literature Club and that one Colonel Sanders one but they didn’t really interest me, probably because they were both parodies of dating sims. The Stein;Gate VN however simultaneously felt like watching a great TV show and reading a good book. If you enjoyed the anime, or have yet to watch the anime, I do recommend reading/playing this VN.

My family didn't have cable when I was growing up, so I saw bits of anime at friends' houses, and one friend was a skilled artist drawing in anime style. My parents had an antenna that kinda worked, so I tried watching Saturday morning cartoons, and Yu-Gi-Oh! was the only one that felt worth suffering through the static for.

My parents got a better antenna when I was an adult, and when I was telling a boyfriend about it, I had to repeat "antenna" over and over again while he looked at me like I had one on top of my head.
