Hello, I'm diqllo, and I'm new here. I'm also the author of Kurok and the Insect Virus, even though nobody really cares.
The concept is simple: I give you the synopsis and the first few chapters.
Pitch 1 – Psychological Thriller/Mystery
Chapter title: The Shadow of the Last Reflection
When Lea receives an anonymous letter containing a USB stick and a cryptic message, she initially thinks it's a bad joke. But when she opens the files, she discovers videos of herself... filmed in her own home, at times when she was alone. Each video is accompanied by a clue, which seems to push her to solve a macabre puzzle. Trapped in a game where her past and memories mingle with an invisible presence, Lea must figure out who is watching her and why... before the next video shows something she will never be able to forget.
Pitch 2 – Fantasy / Epic
Chapter title: The Breath of the Twin Moons
In the kingdom of Aelthar, the twin moons control the tides, the seasons, and destinies. Kaël, a young blacksmith with cursed blood, discovers that he is linked to a thousand-year-old prophecy: when one of the moons disappears, an ancestral power will awaken, capable of reshaping the world. Driven by strange dreams and visions of sunken cities, he must leave his village and navigate between warring kingdoms, capricious spirits, and forgotten creatures to understand how to stop a catastrophe foretold for centuries... before the sky itself betrays humanity.
Perfect. I'll write a chapter for each of you, each with a distinct tone, style, and structure, so that it seems humanly credible.
Chapter 1 – Psychological Thriller/Mystery
Title: The Shadow of the Last Reflection
Lea opened the door to her apartment, her heart beating faster than usual. The letter, lying on the doormat, was strange: no sender, just her name written in black ink, in a style she didn't recognize. She picked it up, the paper rustling under her fingers, and smelled the acrid scent of a perfume she couldn't identify.
Inside was a USB drive. "To understand..." That was all.
She sat down at her computer, her hands shaking. The cursor blinked on the desktop, almost mockingly. When she opened the main file, her blood ran cold: it was her. Filmed. In her living room. She was alone at home, yet the image showed a different angle, objects moved... as if someone had walked through her walls.
Each subsequent video was stranger than the last. Sometimes she saw herself doing something she didn't remember doing. A door she had never opened, a voice she had never heard. And each clip pushed her to solve a puzzle: scribbled notes, GPS coordinates, incomprehensible symbols.
She wondered if she was losing her mind. But one thing was clear: someone was watching her, and that person knew all her secrets. Lea took a deep breath and whispered, "All right... play with me."
Chapter 2 – Fantasy/Epic
Title: The Breath of the Twin Moons
Kaël adjusted the strap of his bag and looked up at the two moons hanging in the night sky. They shone with a silvery glow, but tonight, one of them seemed weaker, almost flickering. The old book he had found in the attic of his village spoke of an event that only happened once every millennia. And tonight, Kaël felt that there was a connection between him and this mystery.
He walked to the shore where the sea, under the influence of the twin moons, was crashing with supernatural force. The waves seemed to whisper warnings, and each flash of moonlight revealed shifting shapes beneath the surface. Kaël placed his hand on the water and felt a strange vibration run through his arm, as if magic itself recognized his cursed blood.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the fog: a woman with silver hair, her eyes reflecting the two moons. "You know why you are here," she said, her voice echoing in the wind. Kaël nodded, breathless. He understood that there was no turning back. Every step he took now brought him closer to an ancient truth, to a power capable of reshaping the world... or destroying it.
