what it glossary and what purpose does it have?

I started writing and posting not long ago and i am wondering what glossary tab is. I mean, every book i checked (around 4 or 5) had it empty and i didn't add anything in there in my book too. can anyone explait this?

If the author chooses, they can use it to keep a separate list of characters, items, locations, etc for readers to quickly reference. It's preferable for longer works that may bring characters back from 100+ chapters ago.

I used it as a mini wikia about my novel with all the special terms like cultivation, rejuvenation, etc.

Both.
It's best to have everything easily accessible because these core concepts will affect the plot later on. I don't want to forget and make any inconsistency.

For extra information you might want to explain to your readers, though it can be superseded by the "Author's Notes" feature within the chapter itself. As for me, I just use it to put in characters and location information, which can also be read in my work.

Basically, nothing too important. Just for added flair for your novel.
