What is the deal with the donation thingy

Like, I just got enrolled into patreon cuz I got an email from them, and things just happens. Still, I am a bit confused. Like, do I have to do anything other than my usual writing, or pay them a subscription fees. I really don't know. Or I don't even know how I would recieve donations since they haven't asked any PayPal details or so.

So, with patreon at least, I know that they take a certain cut of any money donated to you.

Paypal I don't think they do this. You can add PayPal connection in setting, just be aware, if you do this, readers will be able to see your real name.

Patreon is a platform that allows people to pay you monthly by becoming your loyal fans or just one-offs. Note that it have stupidly stringent rules that makes artists want to curse and swear.
