I am trying to make up my mind on which one I should make first and how it should be done. Which one would make for a long lasting book, a superhuman uncovering a dark truth leading into some bad options or a contract killer who is well known but unknown.

A weak super hero who has a difficult time with people to a complete person change

or

A normal girl living her life gets picked by the contract killer to join him or her and they don't take no for an answer.

Here is my bio for the super genocide main pro

Zane Holloway: Zane also known as Z because of his sister Ruby, is the son of David and Sarah Holloway. Z is put through the ringer everyday from his colleagues and parents. He is bullied for being a weak superhuman who has no powers. He was a timid teen who got pushed around, is a sturdy teen who works out in secret to take the hostility of the other superhumans. He goes to a superhuman school even if he doesn't have a useful power. Z has a burning hatred for his twin sister but hides it by keeping her in the dark in his life. Z is a cool headed planner who rarely gets mad. The timidness fades away after his first harrowing experience changing him into an outgoing guy on the outside but a merciless killer on the inside. Zane has congenital heterochromia, it is a condition where the person has two different colored eyes, one eye is light grey and the other is blood red. The thing that really pisses him off is Ruby lacking the courage to kill someone after losing her parents. Z doesn't exactly enjoy killing, he thinks it is just a job that needs to be done. A little thing he takes enjoyment in is breaking girls' hearts as he denies their love but that is just for revenge after being turned down by her a week later after the death of his parents.

Basically The Boys vs the Professional, kinda. A little different, but similar themes. I say the superhuman is going to be more well received if done well, but the contract killer one could be cool.

Depends on your writing. The superhuman one might be easier for you. The second option needs to be a bit more grounded, and there would be more obstacles to deal. I would suggest going to watch Phantom Requiem if you go with the contract killer one

what you are saying kinda looks like this to me.

"would you like one of those korean novels about a weak protagonist going batshit but strong, or would you like a classic shonen novel about a highscooler working in a secret organization ?"

From what you've said I think you should ask yourself which of your possible stories are you feeling more passionate at the moment; which one of them can you envision already in your head? This is just my personal opinion on the matter, but I feel -- instead of asking people to tell you what is best -- you should just go with what calls for you more at this stage. As for the book being long lasting, that depends more on your drive towards it and what ideas you have for it. So far both of your themes seem to hold merit, they are classic ideas that either can be done very well or very wrong.
