What does "Rising Author" mean?

I noticed that my profile changed from "Author" to "Rising Author"

What does that mean exactly?

It depends on the number of followers you have. Iirc, there's Well-known and Famous after that, and the thresholds are respectively 25 (or 10? I'm not sure), 50, and 100.

It means your a rising author, but not famous,though

I thought it was based on how many readers one had. And i think one of the thresholds is 2,000 readers. Which i thought was a low number.

Anyway, they are arbitrary thresholds.
