The night sky
The sky was Red. Everything was red. Everything before his eyes was stained scarlet with blood.
The beautiful green landscape was stained blood-red; its very nature was swept away in a single day.
Death. All that was left was death.
The bloody night sky
It gradually vanished as the sun brightened up the ground. The place he called, home and fought for, were filled with corpses and gore.
All of [suspension clan] best and brightest, who had promised to climb the pinnacle of power together, to safeguard their territory, to spread their names far and wide, had lost their lives to the zenith clan
“So we've won”

Despair that permeated the lands, darkness that destroyed the day itself; Ones who shouldn't have existed; beyond Calamity… consist of strange beings called Zero gods, the system refers them as [Errors]
Normal people would lose their lives and loved ones simply just by defying them. Such beings were torn apart the continent.

He closed my eyes gently, and retrospectively retraced everything that he had experienced one by one.
I was 45 years old when I died on earth, when I was happily returning home from 25 years of war from the frontline. I was killed by a bomb after saving two helpless kids at a supermarket.
After I Reincarnated to the back of this world called [stagnant] to a mother who died after she gave birth to me and then suffered at the hand of my father who said I was the one who killed his wife, it's been 39 years since then.
After my father was done with me, I was sold to a mad alchemist for 30 million berries. Who uses me as he likes, experiment all day and night, it was my daily routine until I ran away, and later found myself at the gateway to a continent called [AETHER]
As, I got there, it was a situation I didn’t know anything about, or could have done anything about. But it was said I will need to pass easy trial of identification to get to the continent.
But, it was all a lie, there were no easy trials of identification. As I came to the realization of this reality, as I was moved to a place called [passage of trials], a place that I discover my [authority]. In that place, I saw monsters for the first time in my life, I was hunted and forced to finish the trials.
The trial duration was set for 90 days. Set in a battlefield with constant struggle for survival. Engulfed into countless life-threatening situation, I hanged onto dear life for three months to be earned the of authority of a (User)’ to enter the world of ‘AETHER.’
But the [passage of trials] was just child's play. The true start was at [Aether] itself. If the [passage of trials] was a battle of life and death, [Aether] was true hell itself.
And the start of my life in [Aether].
I wanted to live. Because I want to avoid dying, I adapted to this strange world called ‘Aether’ with desperation. I clung all my hope of survival for 19 years

He stretched out his hand to reveal a clock’s internal gears system in his palm.

Peter's asked while staring at the old man,
“this is the only way to win a war without death”
“I shall request to go back 19 years. That time when I first entered the [passage of trials]
“This was the last chance, since time can only be reset once”
Husk spoke with a powerful voice, which contracted with his muscular body and greenish - gray eyes.
The old man is called system time controller - husk
“This is what I wanted”
He was a being that possessed the [system authority] to control time. The items he crafted held powers relating to time. The [cube] is just an artifact to summon him to Aether.
"If that is what you truly wish for.”
“I shall respect your wishes.”
Peters let out a deep sigh as he reached out his hand.
The system first gear is the (past) gear. It continued to send time forward. This reset the 2nd gear (present) and 3rd gear (future) and input instructions would be registered in a person’s mind as soon as they held the item.
“When you return in time, remember no one, probably won’t have the same relationship as you have now. So, even if they don’t recognize you, just let it slide. Unless you want to create Steins gate"
“Understood”
Grrr. Krrggrrrrrr.
From nowhere, a sound similar to rusted time machinery moving could be heard.

“I wish this next time, we wouldn't die like we did in this round. Everyone I wish we meet again”

Immediately after the voice stopped, Light so bright that it stung the eye continued to pour forth. The sound of rusted machinery filled the background. An incomprehensible and unnatural sensation rippled through my whole body and passed by. This was not unfamiliar. The sensation of space being twisted, and the feeling of something elapse, it's a feeling I experienced when I died and reincarnate.
As more time passed, the radiant light covered me completely that I could no longer see her figure.
“The system has been watching you”
I was shocked by saying that, but I couldn't ask questions, so closed my eyes, and smiled, whatever will be.
