-----------Rant start-------------

I give up using numbers to try to show growth.

Instead I will try using buildings and furnaces like how the chinese does it.

Or worse, constellations and circles like how korean does it.

---------Rant end, stupid question start---------

What would you favor the most? Attack strength, speed, range and accuracy?

I know everything is the correct answer, but you only get to pick one, like choosing what to eat or which PH vid to fap to for the hour.

Strength is how hard you hit.

Speed is how fast you hit.

Range is how far you can hit and Jemini's rant is in my ears again. Oh god.

Accuracy is how close you are hitting your actual target.

Also, favoring one will automatically mean the other three is completely random for you.

For example, if you pick accuracy, then your attack will fly true to where you aim but at least one of three things, and at worst all three things, will happen:
1. Range sucks, so plop goes the attack midway
2. Speed sucks, so enemy can easily move away or block
3. Strength suck, the attack landed and nothing happened.

For those that didn't favor accuracy, the accuracy debuff is as such:
You have the aim of Helen Keller and Lady Luck is giving you the cold shoulder.

So what would you choose?

And no, only pick one.

Gotta pick range. Interstellar bombardment is difficult to counter. Just hide out on a frozen dwarf planet from the outer reaches of some other solar system and constantly take potshots at your enemy. You at least know where you are trying to aim, your opponent has no idea if you are even in the same galaxy.

Hang on, does range even work without the others? Like, the only reason range is a problem normally is because the attack loses the other three properties at range... Which is exactly what happens anyways if you take it over the others.

Like sure, if you don't take range you're effectively stuck at melee. But at least you have something.

Question is left intentionally vague.

Save or suck.
Only way to fly.

If it must be damage, then make it a strange damage type. Add enough neutrons to the targets oxygen atoms to make 5% decay into fluorine.

HFl is the strongest acid known to man without a catalyst. It LOVES bones and anything with calcium.

So the answer to your question is: weird.
Being weird is the most important part of an attack.

Otherwise, look at it in reverse.

Better than taking a hit, is not being hit.
Better than not being hit, is not being seen.

So detection, accuracy, damage, precision, penitration, and damage type.

That is the order of importance.

Depends on the game system.
Does it have XCOM tier dogshit hit rate?
Accuracy.
Are the enemies bullet sponges?
Strength.
Is your build reliant on status effects and only the qmount of hits matter?
Speed.
Want to snipe from afar?
Range.
You've dealt a shit hand sadly because of that accuracy debuff so I'm picking accuracy and relying on status effects to save my ass. My attacks better fucking home in like an intercontinental ballistic missile that knows where it is because it knows where it isn't.

That sounds like a lot of work when you could just show your MC beating opponents he couldn't beat before.

Am using that.

Just that I wanted to write a universally grading system for wizards, warriors, wretched and wenches.

I mean, I should stick with numbers but I am also egoistic.

Accuracy. Because it is most versatile of these 4. Pair with other trait, and you'll be unstoppable if you consider proper context. It's a guaranteed true hit every time. Strength + accuracy = damaging attack that hits but you need consider your speed and your range. Speed + accuracy = a lot of hits that will be annoying, but hitting the same place a lot of time will increase the damage even if str and range is small. Range + accuracy = endurance test for the enemy, because he needs to reach you first, and imagine missiles being perfectly hitting the same place that you know you'll die over time unless you can mitigate it with regen or whatever. That's psychological warfare.

Context matters. Without it, I always choose speed. Cause what does anything else matter if you can chuck a rock at some fraction of the speed of light.
