What do the 70s, 80s, 90s anime songs make you think of?

When listening to those oldies, I always think of a sunny day with an old-school style anime character walking on a sidewalk beside a beach with gulls fluttering in the sky. Kind of like that scene in the first few episodes of Saint Seiya. Then I'm filled with an intense nostalgia.

I only now in this period two series and their anime openings. Serial experiment Lain and Evangelion, the openings are awesome and some of the best in all of anime in my opinion. They let me feel the melancholy of life I so adore.

I'd show my age if I posted anything, however- old anime songs always send me down a trip of nostalgia and remind me of when I was a youngin'.

Days when the only worry I had was who's house I'd be knocking on and how not to piss off me mum with my youthful nefarious intentions. Days pre-cellular device when the only rule was to be back before the street lights came on. Where staying inside wasn't an option and I was only allowed through the door for lunch or a snack.
