What do people do on class reunions?

As the title says, I want to know what and where happens on class reunions, cause I'm still in high school

it seems like most tend to lie or exaggerate their life to former classmates, especially if their lives feel underwhelming

My high school and college both have a "reunion" for whoever want to come every year, but there is definitely more attention paid to the "milestone" classes in both cases - usually years divisible by 5, and then especially 10, 25, and probably 50 is the next really big one although I'm not that old. I suppose being a few more than 25 years out of high school makes me old anyway.

Had a school reunion a year ago. Won't say what year as to not give away my age. Showed up far more jacked than I was when I graduated and was doing far better in life than majority of those who showed up. They were all confused and doubted me as they never thought I'd be anything since I was actually at the bottom of the totem pole, so to speak. Inevitably I spent the time laughing at their failures. Ended up getting into a fight with an old bully who thought his smart mouth would still work, almost ended up arrested for the result, and then left to continue drinking with actual people I care about.

Edit: Also ended up leaving with the number of an old classmate who used to be one of the "pretty girls" but she's a gold digger so I never actually saved her number.
