I asked coz I went and took a gander at their site and saw something about being Amazon affiliates.

What does that mean?

If i make an account and post a book there do i still have all my copyrights?

Please, if possible... offer emotionally neutral information, i would like this not to be a thread for praise or grievances with royal road.

Bonus question: Also, do they let people post books without covers over there?

As far as I'm aware, RoyalRoad doesn't own anything you post on the site, or whatever you intend to post on Patreon and link to RR.

RR has this publishing deal with Amazon and some other site called Moonquill that does their own publishing program, which is what they mean.

But no, just posting on the site and linking in a Patreon if you intend to do so, does not mean RR will claim some kind of ownership over your work.

Yes, but it will severely dent any possible visibility, if you post without a cover.

You should ask on RR directly, rather than getting second-hand opinions here. Either through a support ticket, or through their contact form.
Or you could just read their ToS, your question is clearly answered there.
Yeah~ but if i use their forum then I have to make an account... or if sent them an email I dont get the thoughts of people that use it....

AND I am super lazy.

Kindle books can get ads on RR. As far as I'm concerned. Posting there doesn't mean Amazon puts its hand on your stuff; it is still yours, as per copyright law.

Yes.

No promises.

Yes.

Hmm... looks like i got my answer,

I will just leave the thread open for a week then request a lock, just in case someone chimes in with a, "Once you click in 'publish' you agree to join a cannibalistic lizard cult" or something.

Don't take my word as gospel, but I use Royal Road, and it's very similar to ScribbleHub, at least in my view.

You still have the copyrights, in short.
