How to sleep when you have migraine?

Worse; the headaches and dizziness would amplified when I attempt to sleep. :blob_no: I want to sleep, but it would only worsen my already worse nausea.

No lights, lots of fresh air and water, if possible maximum silence, and ice to my forehead if I feel too bad.

Not sure if you still need it, but it depends on what kind of migraine. If only have pain in your temples, then find a smooth hard object, put it on your bed and rest your temples on it. Exchange one temple for another until you fall asleep.

If it's the kind of throbbing pain all over your head, heat ginger, garlic and a dash of sugar until the water boils. Let it cool, you can use the freezer, it's fine, just take it out before it freezes. Then drink it.

If it's the kind of migraine caused by flu or fever, get someone to press the two large blood vessels behind your head that connect your neck and your skull. This signals your brain to go to low maintenance mode.

After that, get someone to press hard into the pit between these two blood vessels, where there is a pit right under your skull. This pit is where your neckbone connects to your skull. Press it hard for like 30 seconds or until you feel light headed. This is your brain's shut-off button.

When you press this point, your brain goes into shut down mode, higher processes are reduced until it becomes difficult for you to think much and eventually falls asleep. In many cases, you get a migrain because you overthink, like Cortana during Rampancy. This switch stops you from thinking and cools your brain down.

How to know if you're overthinking? Lie down on the floor perfectly straight. Now roll your head on the floor left and right. If you're overthinking, one side will feel larger (usually the left side) and pressing the back of your head against the floor like this feels much more comforting.
