How to sleep when you have migraine?

Worse; the headaches and dizziness would amplified when I attempt to sleep. :blob_no: I want to sleep, but it would only worsen my already worse nausea.
Is pain-killer not good for you? If not, and you're sure it's migraine, try to mitigate the pain by applying cold compress on your head.

Helps me everytime.

Relax in a dark, quiet room. And stop using your devices. The sounds and lights will make it worse. Anti inflammatory medicines may help. And apply a hot or cold compress to your head or neck. Maybe a heating pad or just ice would work.

Sipping a caffeinated drink could also do the trick in the early stages, heard that helps some people

Some Indica is great for it too. Tho i dunno who would have that on hand so i never suggest it when asked questions like these.

Can you sleep sitting up? I've found that taking a nap in my computer chair tilted back a little is easier on my head when I've got a migraine.

If you can handle it maybe try some light exercise, marching on the spot, standing up on your tiptoes for a second then back down and repeat for a minute, rest and do it again. Even tensing your legs and arms repeatedly can work. The change in chemicals in your head can sometimes help ease the pain. .

Don't lie down, it'll make it worse. One thing that works for me is working out for 5 minutes or so. It works somehow...

Alternatively, knock yourself out with something blunt. You should hit the top of your head so that your brain won't sustain much injury. (I'm legally required to say that this line is just a joke. Don't actually do it.)

If the pain persists for hours, you should really go to a hospital. But if you're in America, you're better off living with the migraine for the rest of your life since you'll be getting headaches from all the debts you would have to pay to the hospital anyway.

I don't get headaches, mostly because I was born with a superior head that is completely empty.

But my family says drinking coffee helps, since it is night, try decaff

And in future, get a cat master. They help with migraines as well. Become a human slave of cats today!

what you need is some good old fashioned speed metal, I recommend Slayer. Play it as loud as possible.

Next you should set up some strobe lights.

Then you should chug down some high proof alcohol : whiskey, vodka whatever poison is your favorite.

Finally, you should eat something. Eggs. Lots and lots of eggs.

That should take care of that pesky migraine

Tea?
Other than that, just suffer

Or take painkillers

Hide your head with a pillow, take deep breaths and try to reduce your heartbeat ratio, that helps as well. And try to eliminate any source of noise, but a distant regulated sound can help you concentrate on something else, like the noise of a fan or an air conditioner. Rain also helps. Oh, and as someone who suffers from migraine several times a month, I can relate.

Sit on the toilet

No clue if it's placebo effect but somehow you feel slightlyyyyyyyyyyyyy better when sitting there
(and can puke faster if you got the urge)

Btw the more you continue using the computer/phone, the more the dizziness will worsen and the more you want to puke.

Also just put your head on the toilet paper port-thingy, and breath heavily so it lessen the pain. And try to not have sounds nearby.

Ah, well, it's good that you finally got to sleep well. In any case, if your migraine keeps on repeating frequently, you should seek medical help. Though, I also read in some medical site before that migraines are common during 30s.
