Resolved Votes not registering

So I've promoted my novel to a couple of my irl friends and they're trying to vote for it, but it seems like it's not registering any votes (it's been 2 votes even though two of my friends have pressed the voting button.

Is this a bug or is it because my novel is still new?

Votes as in you made a poll and had them vote?
Or do you mean some other satistic like favorites or ratings?

Either way, things like views/readers, etc. do NOT update in real time, so just wait.

What error is your friend getting? You usually get an error if the vote doesn't register. If your friend doesn't get any error, can I get his/her username so I can look into it?

Votes as in towards the rating of the book (the one for the 1-5 stars). Whenever she presses on the star button, it says “Thank you for the rating” but it doesn’t register as a vote (i.e. it still maintains as 2 ratings even though a third person has voted)

I had two friends rate my novel and neither of theirs had registered (one of them is caramelcupcake and I’m not exactly sure what my other friend’s username is but I can ask)

Ah I meant ratings! Whoops sorry I forgot that polls existed in forums. My ratings have been a consistent [2 ratings from the first day] for the past 4 days despite another +2 others have attempted to rate it, meaning it should be 4 ratings instead of 2
