So, with the recent updates on Discord, that one good place to store your story's illustrations just vanished. It didn't help that uploading images on profile page in ScribbleHub Forum is also a bit problematic, with Imgur links sometimes working, and sometimes deciding to take a vacation someplace else.

Well, in any case, the good news is, Imgur still works on the chapters of your story (if you're still not aware). For Glossaries (if you plan to put content there like me), I use ImgBB links.

Let's cut to the chase. How to put image on your chapters?

1) You'll need to have an Imgur account (this works, that's why I put it here). Of course, you'll have to upload your images, but if you're scared of AI grabbing your hard-worked illustration, you may not make it public. It will not completely stop others from finding your work, but at least, you'll minimize the risks. (Just upload and then go to other pages)

2) After your images were uploaded, go to the ellipsis "..." on the upper right corner of the image, click, and select "Get Share Links"

3) A box will appear. You'll want to copy the BBCode (Forums) link.

4) Go to your ScribbleHub Novel. Click "Edit" on the chapter you want your image in. Move your cursor to the part of the chapter you want your illustration to appear. On the taskbar at the top of the UI, click on the "Insert/Edit Image," then paste the link you copied on the "Source".

5) Once done, it should look like this.

Note: I always make sure the illustration is on the center alignment of my chapters, hence I click on the "Center Align". However, it depends on you on how the images will appear on your work.

6) Don't forget to save your work. Once you did, the page will refresh, and your image should appear even in editing mode. If it doesn't, there's problem with the link or the image itself. You have to repeat the process again.

Hope this helps.

Agreed with @Sleds. I use Pintrest. From what I've found, you can't just link to the pin itself. Right click, "Open link in new tab". Grab the resulting link. Never had any issues with it.

Don't forget you can also use Glaze and Nightshade to protect your art from AI image generating software.

How would you put photos in your chapter if you already have those photos in files on your computer?
