But never front page, though my numbers consistently outpace at least *some* of the folks in the top 10 each day.
Humble cx
I heard it's getting a mix of comments, likes, and people adding your story to their Reading List that gets you on the Trending List.
I'm a bit surprised if I take your highest ranking as 29 to be factual, because your numbers outpace my work two fold, and yet the highest that I was aware kf reaching was nunber 15 :blob_hmm:

Tbf, I kinda think that proves my point lol believe me, I check obsessively. To my knowledge I've never cracked the first page, so top 25. I'm *often* on the front sorting by anything but rising. I'm not trying to pretend to be humble, just frustrated and also not trying to insult anyone, it just is a fact that my numbers are pretty good.

Well, good on you I suppose.
I've been trying to get my numbers up to no avail, and it's been 3 years. It's either luck, niche story, or a bad story :/
Not to mention I fear that one of my readers has dropped the story, so I'm expecting my future chapters to break 1 or 2 likes now. And I'm on act 3 x( so things are not looking good for me.

Well if you are only getting a handful of readers, it would be hard to break into it... maybe at the end of arc 3 start something else, give your mind a break from your current work. Then you get new readers who might try your old work after they finish the new...

Or dont, and just keep plugging along... there is no wrong answer here. lol

Well, at one point I took a year break due to life stuff, but also feeling like the stats were stagnant. Came back and well, not much has change
Feels crappy seeing newer stories hit while mine stays the way it is. Not that those stories don't deserve it. All I can do is stay consistent and put in my best work, even if I'm the only audience hyped for it x') positive thoughts hahaha
I got plans for sequel stories, but if this one stays how it is, wellll I'll push on but it won't be easy.

Building on Juia's, I think she has a good idea with starting something new. Your story absolutely isn't bad, but the level of writing ability you display in your most recent chapter vs. in your intro seems almost like two different people. You've obviously grown a ton in skill. It will be difficult to get people through the rougher first chapters though, and rewrites almost never work. If you have other ideas in the tank, might want to give em a go.
