If you have the money, they have lots of attractions and places for you to spend it. Just stick to the main streets, I here it gets kind of rough once you get deeper into the city and away from the main strip.
Oregon and Washington are kind of boring unless you like hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, or getting down and dirty. There also a few skiing resorts along the cascades, that operate during the winter. You'll be able to find many of small waterfalls along the cascades with more then a few scenic views, but a lot of it has been mared by large scale forest fires, logging or both. The coast line has places for whale watching and there is always the ever present sealions. More scenic views and hiking trails to persue. Places to go crabbing or digging for clams(if in season) More places to fish the coastal rivers, or charter a boat for deep sea fishing. Along the southern coast of Oregon is the Oregon sand dunes. You can rent quads, side by sides, and dunebuggies to run around and get sand in every orifice xD.
The biggest cities are Portland and Seattle, but I'm more of a back to nature kind of guy so dont really spend time there. Family members do say Seattle has a decent fish market, and there are many interesting restaurants to choose from. Portland is just a lesser version in comparison, but im told it still has it's own charms. *shrug* There are also lots of golf courses if you're into that, and I do mean alot, there is one practically everywhere you go...
