I know ratings mean nothing there but I didn't quite like the summary. I am intrigued with the idea of Tom&Jerry fanfics

You add wacky cartoon physics to any world and it turns crazy quite fast.

just to list a few.

Everyone has a hammerspace with everything in it.
Every character becomes unkillable.(if they die, that just means they became a ghost)
The newtonian laws of physics is just a guideline and will not be followed.
Chemical reactions be damned, we can create anything and everything using common house supplies.
And be careful of labels and descriptions on items, they tend to be quite literal.( a vanishing cream can make you invisible.)

Tom & Jerry is far older than Star Trek,

And yet Star Trek is one of the pioneer of Fanfic tropes, including "Mary Sue" trope that parodies the tendency of Self-insertrd character that always portrayed to be smarter, and more intelligent, and more mature and more appreciated and praised by the crew than they was in the original film.
