Tir Na Nog story?

Would anyone be interested in a story based on the mythical land of Tir Na Nog?

Basically, I was planning a one-shot based on the classic story of a prince being taken there by the faeries. But as I planned and thought it out, it evolved into a potential full story. It's public domain since it's a cultural story (Similar to the classic Norse iteration of Thor - You can use Thor classic, but not Thor disney).

But I'm more curious if anyone would actually read a story like that? The basis would stick fairly close to the original - Prince goes missing, lives a long happy life with his wife, the princess of the fae. One day, he decides he wants to return to the world of men to see his family. He goes to find hundreds of years have passed. And, depending on the version you find, the way back to Tir Na Nog is blocked, so he loses that family as well.

I want to take some liberties, but I'm not sure if anyone else would be interested in such a story. Tir Na Nog seems fairly niche.

oh, I plan to. Just not sure if it's something anyone here would be interested. Mostly curious to know if anyone has experience writing something in a similar vein and how it was received for them. Kind of an ethereal/faerie story.

Edit: I'm also thinking about making it a voiceover/audio serial on youtube rather than posting it here. I know sci-fi does well there, but I've not seen many fantasy voiceovers there.

I don't mind that the least XD as long as there is a plot to the stroy and the smut is consensual (otherwise I either jump the smut or I drop the stroy.) I am game for smut stuff.

I only write consensual, except on request, so no worries there :) And there's definitely story. I use the smut scenes to showcase relationship advancement or explore character traits. but they're rarely the primary focus.

Likely not. The story of Tir Na Nog I'm familiar with was about a human prince that went with a fae princess, they got married, had a family, then after a few years, he decided he wanted to go back and see his family. She warned him not to remain gone longer than 24 hours or he couldn't return. He didn't return in time because he was distraught to learn his kingdom had fallen more than 500 years previously.
