It depends on on my mood and how much I spent planning or brainstorming the chapter. But the minimum is 1 hour writing and 1 hour editing.

how long does it take you to write decently structrued polished enough 2000 word?
I write like 1000 words per half an hour, so in an hour it's like 2000+. But structured and polished as in edited? An hour and a half maybe?

If I'm doing my usual daily word count, 3-4 days.

If I'm absolutely committed and inspired, 2-3 hours.

2 hours to 3 days, it depends on the situation, if I have exams then obviously it will take 3 days or more than that, if I completely free, and it's a friday evening I will do it in like 3-4 hours including editing, mood is also a big factor

Takes me about 1h to write 1000 words, so 2h.

Well, finding time to write those 2000 words is another matter entirely though.

For me, an hour and a half. Of course thats considering I'm in all the optimal conditions. Distractions are at the back of my mind. A nice tune is playing in my ears, helping my brain conjure a scene. And the only thing I can think of is getting this project done.

Then I remember I have to edit the piece of shit and my mood comes down again as I spend double, if not triple the time, making my reading even a tiny bit legible.
