Basically, I discovered this site called "Game bolts" that gives out steam gift cards that you can buy with points. You can get points by slaving away doing surveys that will almost always screen you out or doing offers that want you to give them your credit card. My goal was to buy ck3 for 22,000 points or around that because it fluctuates, Using surveys I was able to scrounge up about 6,000 points before I gave up and bought Arkham knight. I got the steam key bout 5 days after only after I messaged the support team, which I'm pretty sure is just the owner....It did work and i've been playing it, which game me motivation to get ck3 but damn is it hard. That's my review of gamebolts I guess? I just wanted to share this site.

I've always hated those surveys. They almost always want you to give in to their offer, which in turn stops it from being free. If I wanted to spend money I would have bought the game.

It's cheaper to just wait for a discount and buy the game the proper way. You can slave away on those surveys/ad watching/whatever the particular scheme is, earning a fraction of a fraction of the worth of your time while giving away personal information, and not even being sure you will get what you are owed... or you can spend your time productively actually earning money or doing what you like.

Buy base games. Pirate DLC's. The only way.

The only time I tried these websites was back in college. Spent maybe three months randomly remembering that I was doing it and got a Of Monsters and Men CD. My advice is to not forget about doing taxes on this stuff.

Watch out for ketloggers, viruses, fraud and all the other bull scamsites like these like to pull. Don't click on the ads, don't give them personal info like your steam id, email address or credit card info.

Frankly, I don't know enough about those things, so I wouldn't dare to go to a site like that...

Good luck. :blob_teary:?

Also, make sure to pay attention to those invisible floating ads that are superimposed on the actual links. See if it first links to a proper file hosting site at the bottom left url that show up. If you click and it takes you anywhere else, don't download or click on anything. Manually input the real url. A bit of a pain but, you can bypass it.

they give you the key to activate on steam tho.
I wouldn't trust any 3rd party site with steam keys considering how many of them are purchased with stolen credit cards.

I got free games by making mods on Nexusmods, specifically Dragon's Dogma and MGSV. I even got the funds to commission my first ever novel cover from Nexusmods, since they support Paypal payouts.

If your mod is popular enough, you could even buy Cyberpunk. Hell, there are a lot of AAA games you can get with the points.
