So i never understood the hype round it. You know i hadn't gotten any reviews on my novel but i wasn't really bothered. Sure i understand it is needful but i also dreaded very terrible review that would dissuade future readers so all i thought was 'Hope no one posts a review like at all." That was the mindset at first until today. I got my first review for the novel i'm writing on webnovel and it was euphoric. A real dopamine rush man. although it was two seconds long and wasn't very insightful, the fact that someone else liked my work was so motivating. I usually only work on a chapter a day but for the first time i'm writing two chapters a day. I genuinely feel like i could do anything.

Reviews can be a blessing. Good ones can get you feeling this rush you feel now and give you the drive to keep going and do more. I know the feeling well. Enjoy it and write many more chapters. Writer power.
