Honestly, not much would change for me... unless I had writer's block.

Then I might start clearing out a certain list that was revealed recently with judicious use of a wood chipper, then probably start dismantling every organized religion that has megachurches or giant mosques. Then, assuming the list had missed some, would make a few stops to clean up the rest of the cesspool.

Hopefully by then, my writer's block is cured, and I can go back to being a gooner in my trailer, and people can leave me the f alone.

I am honestly a bit scared of having power. So many people in power that I know are just mean. What if I was "revealed" to be mean after getting power?

But i know mine is not the only tale that touches on that subject, many stories that involve people awakening incredible powers also touch on the premise of superiority over those weaker than you, so my question is...

If YOU had that kind of power, how would use it?

Would you use it for the greater good, to satisfy your carnal desires, or would you simply use it to feel better than others and treat them as your playthings?

Power does corrupt people, especially in politics.

I've had my own experience watching a man's reputation crumbles right before my eyes in a week.

At that time, the regent of my regency came over to my grandpa's house, talking about something with him. I don't really know the details. At first, I thought they were on good terms. Since he seems like a good guy, and people around him seems to support him.

But, three years later, that view of mine changed.

Something related about politics in the local school foundation, tied to him, got into problems. And people who I know deep was entangled in it. They were nice persons. But after that, not much people sees them as good people again.

The moment I got that, politicians would be wiped out of existence. Then abuse it in such a way that future politicians would think twice before doing something stupid again.

or you could eradicate the concept of politics altogether.....just saying.

The worse is that its technically, kinda true.

Just like Ming Dynasty. You eradicate nobles, and everything is better.
In fact, china history of 5000 tell us, you topple the emperor + nobles, everything is good. Until 100-500 years later, they are corrupt too.

So yeah.

ps : to anyone else, yessssss i know that tax pay for some jobs and public things, yes, but it still doesnt change the fact that most if not all politicians are problematics, and if people returned to the step of living by themselves/villages, things would change a lot. But lets not continue this topic. (SHF rules)
