Last vestige of Heavn's fading light
(Shall) Pierce the veil of Darkest night

Heed ye well, these words of mine
Lost lights above; shall ye find

Ruby flames; bound by chain
Shall, in Freedom's light, heal thy pain

(In) Sapphire heart, once cold as ice
Ye must confront thy darkest vice

If this happened I’d unironically think it was a love confession… and because of that I’d definitely end up following that map out of sheer curiosity-nyah.

Then, auction the map separately as an old Chinese ARG from the Vietnam war, hoping there's people dumb enough to believe it. No refunds. Hopefully, I'd have made off with at least next months rent.

Well, book a trip to Kings Mountain, North Carolina. If the letter is genuine, the Catawba Two Kings Resort seems like a good place to start, and, if not, the place does have a casino (though only a small one - the full one doesn't open until 2027)...
