So I just posted chapter 43 for my story while editing cause my finger turned out to be too big and I clicked the wrong button. The story has 23 currently, and there were like a hundred people who read that thing before I realized and deleted it.

I don't think I need to say that for whoever has read it it was an incredibly massive spoiler.

What I'm asking is if I'm the only one in misery, and if not, what similarily embarrassing thing did you do?

I'm about to do it. I have realized I am just stalling. So, I'm going to post my first chapter that I edited the hell out of, to the point that the first chapter makes no sense at all in context to the rest of the chapter. I mean, the tone is completely different from the rest of the writing. Just got to figure out a synopsis.

I told people that I would get back to updating my story soon, but I haven't updated it in over a year because I underestimated how difficult parenting is.

Unless the chapter you unleashed has some embarassing secrets you're trying to hide.
