The main hero was a man with a shield, on the planet he lived in when he was 16-18 years old (I don't know exactly), he could be transported to another dimension (not once, but as a permanent portal back and forth). Fighting wild animals and protecting the land of humanity. Humanity there fights with neighbors, some type of monkeys and friends with centaurs. After a while, he was selected for the unit for the best of humanity and sent to a rival planet, where different races (dragons, titans, elves and many others) compete in battles. After some time this planet is attacked by zerg and our hero is one of the last in the competition. Nevertheless, he achieves the best result for humanity in history and buys a spaceship.
Help please looking for this novel.
