Okay so you had your isekai journey and stuff, blah, blah, blah. Nothing interesting here.
During the climax of the story, you killed the Demon Lord and saved the world.
Originally, you thought it was a happily ever after, and you got married to your waifu/husbando. You had a baby, and initially your life was wonderful and happy in every way that you could possibly want it.
However, on your baby's first birthday, an oracle comes to you and says that in truth the Demon Lord reincarnated as your baby.
Currently, your child/Demon Lord has not yet regained their memories, but as they grow up, they will slowly recover more memories (and powers) of their past lives. In this universe, the Demon Lord is a single soul that is endlessly reincarnated, so they have about 500,000 years of memories that will obviously dwarf any amount of new memories that you form with them as your child. The Demon Lord is filled with a lot of hatred, and basically your child will grow up more and more like the previous Demon Lord that you knew with each passing year. The oracle tells you that in all of history, there has never been a single instance when the Demon Lord did not go on a mass-murdering rampage threatening the well-being of the entire world. Consequently, the oracles tells you to assume that the Demon Lord will absolutely be evil once their memories are recovered.
The oracle predicts by age 18, your child will have recovered all of the Demon Lord's memories.
Currently, your child (age 1), is a sweet little baby who is adorable and lovable.
What do you do?

1. What kind of parenting strategy would you take?

2. How would you feel if you see your child getting progressively more evil as they enter their teenage years? Suppose that they started torturing cats in your backyard shed. Is there a limit for something that you wouldn't be able to tolerate?

3. Suppose that the rumor gets out that your child is the reincarnated Demon Lord. Everyone the village now harasses, bullies, and mistreats your child. Would you defend your child? What if the accusations are true? (i.e. "Your child is twisted and sick for torturing screaming cats at night)

4. Suppose that you talk to your child and they say that they are "in pain" and "suffering". How do you react?

5. Suppose that your child accidentally kills your spouse in a fit of anger. How would you react?

6. How do you see you and your child's future?

Even if I can't undo it, I'll at least make an attempt to raise them with enough of a moral code not to kill their family. And I'll even send them a copy of the Complete Evil Overlord list!

This makes me think of the story of Oedipus, only without the incest for obvious reasons.
In that the oracle tells the king his child will kill him, so he sends that baby into the wilderness and chains their leg to the ground.
The baby survived, due to being saved by a passerby, and then grew up and killed the king for a reason I can't remember...
orz
Thus fulfilling the oracle's prediction.
With this in mind...

1. Love, love and love but with the right amount of discipline any child should have so they grow to know how to be respectful and nice to people.

2. I'd talk with them and ask why they are doing it.
Try and find out if there's a problem they're having with something.

3. I'd try to keep my child safe and consider moving to another location to live, where such people don't know about the oracle's prediction.

4. Ask where it hurts and try to soothe the pain, console them, etc...

5. '-'
I think I wouldn't be able to process for a long time...
Also, context would be needed for why this happened.
After all, you said accident, not on purpose.

6. Hopefully like other families are?

I never planned to have a child. It was an unexpected surprise, but not an unwelcome one. I would feel sorry for them, though. They deserve a better parent. Not a monster. The hero party only recruited me because they think I'm human and I was bored.

1. I'm not the type to show familiar affection. When I start smiling, you all better run. My children know this the hard way.

2. I would be proud of them, of course. Like any mother should be. I won't tolerate rudeness, though. Always be polite to people when you're torturing them.

3. They can defend themselves. They are my children. I believed in their ability to beat some villagers. What kind of Demon Lord lose to villagers?

4. If they're saying those things then they truly are my children. I must be a bad influence to them growing up.

5. I cast resurrection on my spouse and told my children to never do that again. Unless when I asked them to. What kind of hero lose to children?

6. I can't see the future. I'm not a seer. But then maybe I can. If I eat the Oracle.

I'm too lazy to answer the questions cus I'm about to sleep. I would keep the truth to myself but still keep raising them as is (with smart guidance, regulating and planning for all eventualities, an elite warrior guardian for the child, and protecting my spouse while keeping them on the loop about some of the important stuff). And I would also think there was a reason why the demon lord reincarnated, especially in a magical world with fate. I'd rather avoid doing a self-fulfilling prophecy due to cowardly thoughts of not being able to do it. I would instill principles, but most importantly all the love the demon lord hasn't experienced til my child can't bear the thought of hurting their loved ones. Obviously their innate nature hasn't changed, but I can handle any outburst with my strength and connections, and I would let my child handle the rage by channeling and releasing it every time they fight, and against every baddie.

Of course there will be the occasional misunderstanding, cheesy family moments, slice of life, baby genius shock, and training-teaching arcs with the rocky theme.

Tl;dr basically love, finding out the tragic past of the demon lord and getting into my child's heart, use my assets, and let them channel the monster inside just like Mike Tyson does (search it if you don't know)

Become a parent that would raise the child to be proud live his life, even she would end up killing me. Even if she is filled with hatred and evil, i will still love my child like how my mother take care of me until the end. Be it a good influence or bad. And especially be unlike my father.

1. What kind of parenting strategy would you take?

Take it slow and develop the child to be best and proud of her accomplishments and raise it to the best i can. Guiding it to be good while keeping her own moral compass, even if she will turn evil and try to be a loving parent whose ignorant of her being a reincarnated evil lord who would probably kill me due to our old encounter.

2. How would you feel if you see your child getting progressively more evil as they enter their teenage years? Suppose that they started torturing cats in your backyard shed. Is there a limit for something that you wouldn't be able to tolerate?

Try to always communicate and understand one another while giving advice that might lean to be good or teach things about how to be evil but not commit to crime while leaning to be a law-abiding citizen.

3. Suppose that the rumor gets out that your child is the reincarnated Demon Lord. Everyone the village now harasses, bullies, and mistreats your child. Would you defend your child? What if the accusations are true? (i.e. "Your child is twisted and sick for torturing screaming cats at night)

Touch my child or it might not be just cats that goes missing at night. I maybe a pacifistc and kind person but i can also make people disappear and be more cruel than my own child if you provoke me enough. I might not be a good role-model but i will always be a good parent that i never had.

4. Suppose that you talk to your child and they say that they are "in pain" and "suffering". How do you react?

Comfort and always look for ways to try and remedy the pain my child is suffering.

5. Suppose that your child accidentally kills your spouse in a fit of anger. How would you react?

Mourn and hug the child as i start to blame myself rather than my own child as i wasn't good enough to be a good parent. While i would be angry at the child, i knew that this wouldn't happened if i ended the child in the first place but i will always prioritize the life of my own sole offspring over my grief of losing my own spouse.

6. How do you see you and your child's future?

Actually, i think i may have a story for this:

I think it might start out as the Demon king wasn't evil at first and was slowly corrupted by being born as an evil king in every generation. She would then start her reign but soon starts to fall in love with the hero due to her charisma but was tricked and died by me who was the hero's aid but i apologize as i felt bad due to knowing her circumstances from the other demons we faught.

It was the end and i ended up marrying the hero and gave birth to a daughter who kinda look like the demon king. While both of us would be shocked, we would try our best to raised her even if we know she'll turn evil in the end.

While growing up, the daughter would soon learn about my secret life of being a former assassin and doing evil things as she would blackmail me to protect her identity in being the former demon king as i would agree due to not only hiding my secret but i don't want my wife finding out that i've been committing atrocities in the past.

Protecting her from bullies, assassinating the people who would bring her harm and guiding her little by little into becoming good, it would had been a normal and slow peaceful life.

Until, we would be attacked by the church after knowing that our daughter is the reincarnated Demon King and would try to kill her as she fends herself against them but accidentally killing her mother as i would be horrified and her despair but instead of being angry at her, i just hugged her and apologize for not being a better parent.

I would then slowly raise her up until she was old enough and disappear from the world and her life, finding solace and peace for myself. Not caring what would happen next.

Probably treat them fairly normally until they start exhibiting extreme behaviors, then sit them down to talk it out.

2. How would you feel if you see your child getting progressively more evil as they enter their teenage years? Suppose that they started torturing cats in your backyard shed. Is there a limit for something that you wouldn't be able to tolerate?

Cat torture I would probably crack down on pretty seriously, cause I like cats. Plus, my waifu/husbando would probably be a cat girl or tiger man respectively, which would make the young new demon lord at least part cat.

3. Suppose that the rumor gets out that your child is the reincarnated Demon Lord. Everyone the village now harasses, bullies, and mistreats your child. Would you defend your child? What if the accusations are true? (i.e. "Your child is twisted and sick for torturing screaming cats at night)

I would stick up for them. Probably tell the villagers something along the lines of "I'm taking care of it. Unless, you don't trust the 'Hero'?" Hold a grudge and maybe retaliate myself against anybody who takes things too far though.

4. Suppose that you talk to your child and they say that they are "in pain" and "suffering". How do you react?

Pet their cat like ears and try to console them to the best of my, likely awkward abilities.

5. Suppose that your child accidentally kills your spouse in a fit of anger. How would you react?

Short term, hug and comfort them as well as I could. Long term, we're past the point of no return, time for us to move to the demon realm or whatever.

6. How do you see you and your child's future?

I'd probably go for a "Fallen Hero" route by forming an alliance with them after they've regained all of their memories. Like, I've already played the Hero, now I'd like to be a Demon myself. Plus, demon race harem? Aside from siding with them, I'd try to reign in some of the extremities of how they operate. Conquer instead of destroy when possible, treat allies well instead of as disposable pawns, and so on. Also, I have a fun mental image of the new Hero walking into the Demon Lord's castle to confront the Demon Lord, only to find a former Hero petting the Demon Lord. Granted, I would fully expect them to return to their old ways once I'm gone, but hey. A few decades of a Demon Lord who isn't as bad as in the past?

If his destiny is inevitable and all efforts on my part to prevent it are useless then I must kill the child.

Killing doesn't seem to solve anything since it seems the demon lord will reincarnate anyways.
Better do the magical equivalent of cryonics.

The more important question is though, how trustworthy is this oracle anyways.

These are great questions and I'll have to consider them carefully. I won't post them though. My excuse is because... I'll just show you:

Since I've had dealings with this Demon Lord before, I might be able to tame it this time around.
Killing one of my spice would go too far, though. I'd reluctantly ask the remaining spice to kill the child at that point. Hopefully, the dead spouse would be the father of the child, so it would be easier for the other spice to go through with the task.

They are going to be one hell of a villainess after I'm done raising them.

6. How do you see you and your child's future?
I saved the world once right? That means that I get a freebie pass. If I save it once I can destroy it once, sum zero game yo! Ohohohoho.
