Well, scooby gang, it's here. The Author Write-Off A.K.A Street Writer is beginning. I didn't think this would actually happen but now that we're here, I'm so happy.

No Trolling
This is an attempt at a semi-serious tournament, so no trolling.
Once in, Never out
I'm just kidding. But seriously since we want this to actually work, if you want to join but know you are not/can't be committed, don't join. If you join and something comes up personally, you can forfeit.
Don't take it, THAT seriously
As much as I don't want people just up and leaving or trolling, this is supposed to be a fun game for the community, so chill.
Be A Good Sportsman
Basically, don't be salty. This could be merged into the previous rule, but I think it should be stated on its own.
No Plagiarism
This should go unsaid but I want this on the record. Use your own creativity when creating these stories. Make a unique experience for the readers, and you could really win!

How this tournament works
Well gents, here's how this is going to go. The start date will be tomorrow Wednesday, April 27th. The end date is going to be when we reach a winner. The beginning pair-ups are randomized and are now set. There are a few exceptions to the randomization as there are people who are in preset pair. The topics/writing prompts are also randomized and will be given to the individuals in the pairs, unique for each pair of course. They will each write a short story of a minimum of 1k words and a max of 10k if you're really a tryhard. Each pair will have 5 days to complete their short stories so they can be posted on the account Street_Writer, they will be excused if they are a couple of days late (2-3 days). What is not allowed is for you to just make straight smut. You can have some smut within the story, but it should not be the entire story.
