The origin, appearence, number of occurance, name, effects in life, etcs.
Something that another could recognise.
Not the traumatizing one, don't force yourself.

When I was young, I had stretch marks over my shoulder and stomach which was worsen further from my nails from the itchiness when I was asleep. It was jagged purple but over the years most are now white. I like my scar, for others I don't remember their reaction except my mother's advice to not scratch your skin without cloth on top and so I followed.

I was holding something in one of my hands, and the counters were all covered, but I wanted a vine of grapes. So I pulled out the bag, grabbed a vine between my finger and thumb, and tried to cut it off with my nails. Only my finger slipped and cut through the back of my thumb instead, leaving a nasty gash across it. Fortunately you can barely see the scar though, it healed pretty well after a few months.

When I was still in kindergarten, I fell from one of those ramps where people pull themselves up on. Face first into the sand. Now I have a scar on my chin, and fear highs. I can't go down the stairs without taking a hold of something.

More than once, I have clutched to a stranger for stairs which are more than 5 steps long. I guess they are ready to believe you are afraid, when they see you taking the steps first with the right food, your fists balled, and with wide eyes, until you dare to set the left foot down.

There are good people out there. =)

One in each arm. One with a broken glass candlestick, the other was a... ya know, I forgot. Something sharp. The scars are about two/three inches long, halfway up. Was dating a girl. Got in an argument. She stabbed me. We made up. She stabbed me in the other arm. So we got married. She hasn't stabbed me since.

Moral of the story: If a chick stabs you, that's just her way of saying she wants a commitment.

Side note: 30 Years ago, she was STACKED. So, this only applies to hot chicks.

I don't remember clearly, but I think it was when I was 13, I went on a hiking trip and when entering a cave there were steps leading up. But nobody informed me that there was a gap, long story short, I fell into the gap and my right knee got mauled by rocks, and bled so much I was slowly losing conscious.

Anyway, I finished the climb and took a photo.

The scar on my left eye happened when I walked into an open window at 16.

Ironically, my glasses saved my eye.
Flashback when a teacher decided to point at the back. I was at her arching nails to my eyes. Thankfully it was closed at that time or... ye.

I have so many questions. So I will ask none of it. Let it remain a mystery.

When my wife was dating a biker in the Kingsmen, she used to collect wrenches so she could throw them at cars from the back of the motorcycle when other drivers pissed her off.

She had... so many wrenches when we moved in together.
And yet, there was evidence she should have had many... many more.
So many empty spaces in those wrench sets.
So... Many.

I don't remember who did it, but someone threw a rock at my head when I was 4. It hit the corner of my eye and now I have a little dent near my eye socket.

Oh, also I got stabbed in the back once, but I got off with merely a flesh wound. Don't drink and fight with strangers, never a good idea. It was fun tho...

A visible scar is beside my chin on the left side, running diagonally for about 2/3 cm. It's usually hidden by my beard, but I don't mind showing it when I shave. Another smaller one is above my left eye, but it's not very noticeable.
I appreciate them a lot because they are an important life lesson.

I was young and stupid, and drunk as f*ck. It was around 5:00 AM, in winter.
I was foolish enough to drive my car after a night of revelry at the club.
I was doubly stupid for not wearing my seatbelt.

I lived in a high place, on a hill that required special driving attention, a road full of curves and poorly lit.
I wasn't going very fast because I wasn't able to. But...
Suddenly, a black cat crossed my path.

To avoid it, I swerved right, but I lost control of the vehicle as a wheel got caught in the ditch next to the road.
The car got its wheel stuck in the groove and rolled over itself four or five times.

I hit my head against the windshield, fracturing it.
Once it stopped rolling, I found myself upside down, dazed, and the drunkenness was gone, replaced by adrenaline.

With the car overturned, I crawled out of the window.

My face was a mask of blood, and I had bruises and wounds all over my body.
I was in the middle of nowhere, my phone had no signal.
I walked to the nearest house to ask for help, slowly and limping, for a time that seemed like an eternity.

Despite everything, I was alive.

This experience taught me a lot, as I saw death in the face along with my whole life flashing before my eyes in slow motion.

I was in the first-grade of elementary school. My aunt picked me up with a motorcycle. On the way home, my legs were itchy, so I swung them to alleviate it a bit.
Oops, my right foot got into the wheel.
The wheel acted like a chainsaw.
I lost 20% of my right heel that day.

Never had any long lasting scars—unless, of course, you include mental scars. But there was one time it was close and could have been bad. Really bad, I mean.

I was cycling that day when a motorcycle sideswiped me out of nowhere. I was able to withdraw my right hand on Instinct, or it would have mangled just like the handlebar.
That thing was fast, and the person on it didn't seem to think of helping me and ran away.

Miraculously, I wasn't hurt in any major way, but I couldn't stand for a complete few minutes; my fingers were electrifying even after some time.

I have a small mark on my forehead; it's actually barely visible now, just a tone darker line, about two centimeters long. I got it by slipping and slamming into a table corner with my forehead when I was five.

My mom fainted when she saw the dent in my head. I supposedly got a bit of brain damage from the fractured pieces of my skull that got a bit deeper, but nothing dangerous in the long term.
