What does your location have to do with anything, when the interactions are only gonna be online?

Also, I wouldn’t recommend rewriting based on a teen’s view on your story’s dialogue.

I think OP just lives in a reclusive town and has no good sample size on how the "kewl younglingz" talk nowadays.

I am a teen but I don't think I can help you that much. I'm pretty weird if you compare me to my peers lol. And also, I haven't gotten in touch with people of my age for over two years (I am not a hikikomori, I go out of my home every day I just don't actively search for them.)

You could always set it ten years in the future and make up your own "kewl younglingz" talk.
