Talentless Hero: The Chosen Hero Is Unqualified

I’ve written up to chapter 22 plus the Prologue of ‘Talentless Hero: The Chosen Hero Is Unqualified’ and wanted some feedback since the most I got is a 5 Star rating and a 1 Star rating without comments or any sort of reaction.

The most being that some of the art I included (like the MC’s father) looked great and he had that drip, but nothing other than that.

Talentless Hero follows the story of Lex Lindblum as he is chosen by the previous Hero to save the world. The only problem being that he has no talents and is the worst in the ‘Hero Society’ that operates this world. Thus the title name.

It’s a story that starts in an apocalyptic event but will become an Academy story later on after he and the people he met in that event are saved. I have posted a lot of art for each main character.

If that sounds interesting then try giving it a read.

I update at least once every 4 days but could be faster depending on my IRL situation (since I got other priorities). Bad reviews won’t really phase me since I prepared this story for a while and will simply learn from my mistakes going forward.

Look, I am a devout believer in short paragraphs, but there was a whole section in the prologue that made me almost cringe. You tried to make a new paragraph for every short sentence, it's bad. This is English, not Chinese or Japanese, at least make the sentences long enough so it won't look like you're making a poem.

I’m not sure why you inferring things from the title is my problem. If you read stories through their summaries alone then wouldn’t you miss out on works worth reading? Re:Zero also looks and sounds horrible in the summary alone, but is called a masterpiece by the Ani-Community.

meaning: Read if you want to know. Don’t if you don’t want to know. No use getting worked up over a standard introduction.

also re:zeros protagonist is far too stupid to benifit from his cheat skill, turning it into emotional torture porn where the side characters go full retard to help the protagonist to progress the story foward

It's not the subject of the thread, but do you need some help with your cover? I know a lot don't pay attention to detail on a cover, but I can't help to see the wand, the left hand and the feet on your cover.

Was thinking of fixing that but then left it as is. It’s a work in progress as a simple AI design right now, but not full cover. I’d love to accept any help I can get tho. Sounds interesting.

Here some, keep in mind that if a part of any image are weird or not your tastes, I can change it by selecting just the said part, like for exemple a wrong generated hand. The first half are made by using your image as base, if you like some "style" I can reload them to have more choice in the same "style" or you can even give an image who can serve as base if you want.

They are all fanfics, and most of them are of Marvel stuff.

I used simple prompt : a male mage, manly, detailed, full body, brown hair, brown eyes, flying with books floating beside him, holding a magic wand, wearing white shirt with white pants and a dark cloak, anime style

And used an image of a character from the game (I think it's a game) named closers as a base reference for it:
