To take time away from your work to live out life sounds like suicide to the creator of a work, or putting you flaming heart in the coursing river, but it is truly not this way. Taking time away from your work to live out life is simply one of the best things you can do, as when you are least expecting it the idea slips right into you. Slipping like Leonardo D’ Caprio into your mom’s DMs.
Taking time away from your work is a genius technique, used by the professionals themselves and personally I can endorse this method. Not saying I’m a profession but it has done wonders for me, for example when I have taken a shower some of my most brightest and brilliant ideas came to light. So simply I’d like to see what effect this activity has on your producitvity, and if you haven’t how about it giving it a try. Perhaps attempt to be something greater.

also make sure to list what you do and what came out of your restingness

Ah, no, ADHD doesn't work like that. The more I take time off, the less time I'll have to focus on my work. I need to work regularly and with a schedule if I seriously want to get anything done.

Of course, if I am totally and completely unable to focus, I go do something else (like eating, or playing a relatively short game), because I will only get more frustrated otherwise, while trying and failing to work... At this point it's better to take your mind off, just to see if you can focus later.
But at any other situation, I always try my hardest to stay focused, because it's just much easier to get dispersed instead.

Well me taking the time away from my works make me don't wanna do it the said work so if I'm going to do it, I will have to do it in full so that I won't be lazy to continue it

This was totally me before getting medicated (inattentive ADHD). That helped a ton with focus. But even still, the only way I was able to finish a 120K novel was to timetable the living hell out of my writing. The idea of writing being 'art' and just letting it happen when the muse takes you is awesome. But (for me at least) the only way to actually get it done was to grab it by the scruff of the neck and say 'WE ARE WRITING FOR ONE HOUR BEFORE WORK! THIS WILL TAKE SIX MONTHS! COMMENCE CHIPPING AWAY AT THE MOUNTAIN NOW!!'

Yeah, even with medication, I still need to force myself to work on my translations, and on writing as well... Otherwise I will just spend my whole day browsing forums or whatever.
