Lately, the world has been in an ever-going series of development, both good and bad. With the recent news, it made me realise how privilege and fortunate we are that we can travel and live in peace. While others may be scared for their life every single day.

This thread is for you to share a charity or a cause that you think needs help. I hope you all also consider donating for those causes. Whether it's the bush fires in Australia or supporting the homeless.

I don't have means to donate, but I'm really concerned about the overworked office employees in Japan, and how they used 'principles' to exploit their workers, such as having overtime with no pay just because everyone else did it.

I hope things went well, so more office workers could enjoy a good night rest and an actually fulfilling work according to their aspirations.

i also hope that more of us here can land on our dream job, and if not yet, can attain the support we need, to make a living, doing the things we love the most.

Off the top of my head... Mermaids UK is a charity dedicated to helping transgender children and teenagers, and their families, by providing them with education on the topic and with financial help when needed. They're in a particularly hard spot lately because the US alt right is funding a wave of transphobia in the UK medias - most of it arguments directly recycled from the gay panic of the 80s ("they're turning our kids trans", "they're bathroom predators", "they're pedophiles", etc etc). https://www.mermaidsuk.org.uk/

Well, I am more pushing forward on anti cyberbullying laws in Korea, because all the recent suicides of young celebrities pretty much shows how fucked up the country's perspectives in idols are.

Also, I kind of hoping the law will extend forward to the rest of the world, because cyberbullying is real, and sometimes can be international.
