Writing Prompt Summoned as... Player Two? Now what?

There you are, living your life, minding your own business, when through a million in a million mishap, you end up getting summoned to a world full of fire, suffering and little people with pitchforks. Your typical medieval fantasy world.

You stand in the summoning circle, staring at the most beautiful princess you have ever seen. Standing next to her is her somehow even sexier brother prince. They are regaling you with their tale of woe. A dire need, an unending appetite for the sweet scent of flesh. The demon lord, or maybe magic king, or was it Evil Magic Demon High Lord King? You’re not really paying attention to what they are saying, instead your gaze is fixed on the other person in the summoning circle.

The princess and prince are both speaking to the other summoned individual. Begging for their help to save the bosom of their lands from being despoiled. Apparently that’s Player One. They get all the attention, adoration, equipment, and devotion. They get first up.

You have been assigned the heroic title of Player Two. Your task is to sit around and wait. In the event Player One is unable or unwilling to fulfill their duty, your turn will come. It’s part of the kingdom’s strategy, saving on summoning costs and so on.

You are not provided any gear, training, or companionship. You're not even permitted to leave the castle grounds. The only upside is that nobody is really paying any attention to you at all. You could steal whatever you want, you could easily sneak out past the guard so inept they have to outsource saving their own freaking world to people who don’t understand it in the least. You have options.


So, what do you do? Support Player One? Betray them? Sneak out? Stay? Seduce the Princess? Make love to the Prince? All of the above?

Sneak Out, find the Demon Lord, convince it to help me, learn gender bending and lust magic, entrap the hero, make him to a girl and taste her and then throw her to a demon chamber to become a seedbed to create better monsters and I lead the demon army with the demon lord's permission to destroy humanity, have my revenge to the kingdom that summoned me. This essentially sounds like the starting premise of "The Saint's Power is Omnipotent." Only, in that case, the protagonist actually was the saint and the extra person in the summoning circle was the extra. The prince in charge of the summoning didn't know this though, and instantly favored the other girl because she looked more like what he would envision a saint to look like.

(Prettier and dressed in attractive casual clothes, Vs. the protagonist who was dressed in female professional office-worker clothes and had her hair done appropriately, which he took to be the way a servant might dress. Irony of that moment, when they found out the protagonist was the real saint the prince and his advisor had a discussion about how he had likely overlooked the customs of another world when judging them on their clothes. Similarly ironically, it was actually true. The protagonist actually was professionally dressed as a business woman, which would be seen as the person in a higher position of power on Earth Vs. the street casual dress of the other.)

Learn the language both written and spoken. Then learn basic culture and etiquette. See if it is possible to learn magic. If not, wait for player 1 to leave, then try and find some magic tomes, steal them, then escape. If I can learn magic, go through all basic courses, before stealing magic tomes and escaping. If I befriended someone bring them with me. If caught I will say that the hero failed so I (we) must begin the (our) adventure. Create a small hermitage in the woods until I learn everything in the tome, by then I should be able to do everything in the books.

Go around promoting a revolt against the kingdom in an attempt to gain control. Also assinate some higher-ups of the kingdom, y’know, use the fact they never pay attention to me to gain control of the kingdom. Also use it to add a new religion, with me acting as it’s god “whispering” into the followers ears, them unaware I’m there, gaining religious control. Give Player One as much support as possible. All info needed, all weapons and armors. Even party members. Then use Player One to conquer everyone else, making me king of the world, and also spreading the religion, making people trust me more. Then after all that, betray him using the Party Members I gave him who were gaining strength at the same level he was, and there are more of them and make a harem as king of the world and god of the new religion.

Steal the info for the summoning ritual and just, go nuts with it. I'll build my own kingdom of summoned heroes! Then, we form an alliance with the Demon Kingdom against the human kingdom for shits and giggles. How will I keep a ton of random isekaiers in line. SHEER POWER.

First of all, you have to ensure that Player One never game overs. If you as Player Two become the main character, you'd lose your only advantage.

Outside of that... Well, just do isekai things. If literally nobody can notice you, then you can sneak around and find all the little secrets that you'd normally only find out about at the last second, like that there's no way home or that the dungeon is full of failed heroes.
It sounds like a stealth cheat, really. Magic Assassin for the win.

Now that's my kind of plot. Since the above already is my number one plan down to a T, I'll just talk about my plan B:

Get in contact with the demon king army, gain their trust, gain the trust of the kingdom, play both sides against each other, corrupt the princess, turn the prince into your bitch, recruit 'rebels' from both sides, build your own army and raise your banner during the final fight, blinsiding them. I'll be hailed as a hero by acting like a true villain and then fake my own death Code Geass style.
