What kind of markup does Scribblehub use? Is there any way to preformat your story so you can paste it into the new chapter form and have it display correctly, without needing to manually go through and format italicized words, etc., with the editing toolbar? HTML doesn't work and BBCode doesn't work, as far as I've tested so far (except for [author]?)

I have a process whereby I feed my manuscripts to a set of Perl scripts that format them with the subset of HTML allowed on each of four different fiction websites, adjusting various things as needed. I'd like to write another one for Scribbehub if it's possible.

On a related note, is there anyway to use italics or other markup in a series description?

As far as I know, many authors use google docs and the formatting will be automatically copied over in the sh editor.

The series description can’t be formatted.

Wow, I basically use Word doc or google Word for writing, hope that it won't be much hassle to paste my work.

I use Word myself and it hasn't been a problem for me, so long as I'm not doing anything fancy. I have to do things in the SH editor if I'm making a window or something, but other than that it's been a smooth copy/paste

I wish it used BBCode... T.T

No clue what it uses, I also wanted to know what kind of markup it uses as it would make my life considerably easier...
