Stats has ruined my day…

So, I was glancing through the stats page, checking my average views and such, when I went to my stats page. I had posted my favorite chapter a week ago and wanted to see how it was doing.

Oh, at least it doesn’t stand out from the standards amount of views right?

Uhhh, why does it have less views then my most recent chapter? I thought, as I went to check the other site I had posted to. I wasn’t expecting much because I had recently added the story there a couple of days ago. I added my favorite chapter and the most recent chapter earlier today. Yet, at least it will have-

… my day is ruined.…..

It counts your views and it counts views of people who clicked at the last chapter accidentally without reading the whole story first. When I was still reading stories I would sometimes click on the middle/later chapters just to see how the author improved compared to the early chapters. Especially when I am on the fence about dropping it and one of the reasons is grammar or legibility.
