Pretty standard i guess? Nothing really new, the writing is quite dull... Maybe its to early to jugde, after all no one reveals big twist after only a few chapters.

You should try to add more genre and tags to your story.
If you're going to name your chapters like that:
Chapter 4: First Contact with the Lord of Shadows
Chapter 5: Wrath of Darkness
Then you should do the same with the other chapters to have the same format.
In my opinion, you should redo your cover, but it's up to you.
Your synopsis isn't a synopsis, it's more a prologue or half of your first chapter, here again in my opinion you should redo it.

I didn't read your story, but just with what I said, you can attract more views/readers to your story. Good Luck.

Your synopsis reads like you plucked half of chapter 1 and just lazily placed it there. Also put more genres/tags on that thing; how is anyone supposed to find it?
