I recently found out that two people have plaigarized my story Birthrights and The Mandate of Heaven part 1 and put them on Amazon under different names and different (not me) authors. I'm royally pissed, and have reported them to Kindle Direct Publishing and Amazon - but I was wondering if this happened to any one else on this site... If so, what did you do about it? Anyone want to vent together?

Report them. That is all you can do and that is what you should do. I'd be amused to find out my stuff is worthy of stealing. But still, the only thing anyone can do in this situation is reporting them and that is all. Without any agency behind you, this stuff will happen... and even then it is not a 100% security.

Hope it is going to be resolved for you and they would be either taken down or their ill-gained profit given to you.

Last time someone did something similar to my work, I posted a comment:

"You can read this for free--and with illustrations too--at the author's personal account."

Then provided a link to my novels' page list. Haven't seen the asshole since.

(Of course, I reported the guy as well. But I love playing with people who fuck with me, so I did that.)

Hack into their account, and transfer all the money they have aquirer to me, then i used one of my satelite to air strike them.

Or just report them. Thats work.

How do you even find out, if its under a different title and author?
Someone else pointed this out in another thread. If you want to check if your novel got stolen and posted on amazon just search for all the genre tags. Whatever bot is doing this seems to just change the title and stack on genre tags at the end.

how does that help if other novels have the same tags though.
Also if it isn't on here but on amazon itself already, I wonder how amazon check

Well they changed the name to make it less obvious. If they didn't add the tags then it would be even harder to detect that it came from here.

As for how Amazon checks. I'm not sure.

There is a software that scrapes the whole wide web and checks for plagiarism. It's what big companies and institutions use to prevent themselves getting into legal troubles from plagiarism. Just search for plagiarism checker. Ai-chan doesn't know which ones are good, if you've tried them all, let Ai-chan know.
