Some art I made. Give feedbacks please.

You see, all these arts have a black overlay. They are supposed to be some more details. But I can't think and illustrate it on my head.

Like this one is supposed to be a cityscape. But, I realized it was way too hard. (And yes, this art is inspired from Your Name)

I actually made this an illustration for one of my novel chapter. The black overlay meant to represents a meadow.

I don't know, a guy jump to the stars, I guess.

Need some idea on how to make it better. A black overlay is fine, but I want to make it detailed.

The first image has too much negative space for nothing to be going on. Either crop about a third out or try make that cityscape.
The second image has very simplistic lines.
Your trees look cartoony, which makes them look out of place and ruins the landscape.

The problems are mainly about the black portions, you need to make rougher lines and add more lines and shapes to your images to make sure you're not taken out of the piece when you look at it.

I really just don't understand trees and how to draw them. But yeah, I see your point.

So basically, my art is still too simplistic. Got it.

To be fair, I just started doing these kind of thing 3 days ago on a mobile free app. I don't have a stylus so gotta use my fingers. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

i love how you blend the colors. it feels really detailed.

i think you should just experiment and draw however you like. tho i dig your current style.
