Does short, silver-white hair work for a human-male 25-30 y.o. character?
I've googled anime and IRL images and I can't form an opinion. (I'm not a stylish person)
Is it something cringe? Cool? Can it be somehow presented in a natural way?

Edit:
Ok! That's a good enough of a response for me! Now I have an idea I'll play around with in my head.?
?Thank you all.?

If it's a fantasy world or something yeah it's fine. If you're going to compare it to real life, then that person will stick out in the crowd unless that's your intention. There are people who get white hair at a young age because of some condition, although the ones I know either leave it be (which makes them look way older and not cool) or dye their hair the original color or something else. If someone dyed their hair white in real life at that age I'll mark it as cringe until I know the context, like maybe they're in a band or something with that signature style.

No
Kinda
Not really
Nothing short of the greatest death shock of their lives or being in a high stress state. Either ones can shorten their lifespan and maybe cause the hair to whiten.

I don't really care about how characters look in stories since i don't bother with detailed descriptions and short descriptions leave much space for imagination. And anything can look good or bad, if you imagine it so.

Either is fine. Just need some food for thought
Well, I mean, it depends in both cases. IRL, if some K-POP stars have silver-white hair, it would almost certainly look good. At the same time, if it's some fatso with a beard that looks more like pubic hair have silver-white hair, it would look cringe at best. It depends on the attractiveness\handsomness of a person.
While in fiction, it's up to the author\artist. You decide how silver-white hair looks on a character. No one can tell you because you write a description\draw a character.

It works. It stands out, though I would not say it's particularly cringe or cool by itself, just another hair colour. Depends on the context, the character and how they wear it.

Medical conditions can cause grey/white hair besides stress, albinism for one and I heard some medications can cause it as well.

I know a guy who has grey/silver hair just cause of genetics. Most guys in his family get white hair at a young age or something. Plus stress doesn't help.

Most of those who have silver hair in real life are most definitely bottle, though. Albino hair is different. They're completely devoid of any melanin, so their hair would be white, with no silvery sheen. For it to have silvery sheen, the hair needs a little bit of black.

Ai-chan is sure they exist somewhere, but Ai-chan has never seen real life natural silver hair. As for whether or not it looks good, it would look good on handsome men, just like any hair colour would look good on handsome men. Personally, Ai-chan prefers black or brown on men. Silver is just so... Kpop, and Ai-chan hates Kpop boys. They're so girly.

It's a kick that's been popular since Sephiroth from FF7 introduced the concept of a middle-aged or younger male with platinum blond hair that is portrayed as silver or grey in animated form.

If you want to see how it would look IRL, look up "platinum blond," because that's the color that white hair is supposed to be mimicking. And, the IRL equivalent actually looks more pale blond than white.

Yeah it can work if they happen to dye it or have natural platinum blond hair.

As for natural gray/silver/white hair? If you are going by realism it is cause by an auto immune disease, lacking important vitamins, Albinoism, a thyroid problem, substance abuse, or extreme amounts of stress.

I was thinking on the line of a common black haired person suddenly goes silver age.

Albinism isn't just white on head, it's white everywhere and red in eyes. You will stand out like the call for Gondor.

As for meds, let me check...

So your story‘s based on the modern world? In the modern world we live in right now, there are as many hair colors as one can produce. You can dye your hair in whatever color you want; If it sets in fantasy world, then you can just do whatever you want, really.

Salt and pepper is more realistic, so you can gofor a heavy salt hair. As long as the hair is thick and oily enoigh, it could appear glossy..
